Ken;it sounds like your trip was well worth it[except for the dead animal crap]!! The Comet looks terrific, mirrors the original very closely!! Good thing I didn't go as I scattered my engine on my first qualifier Sat.7-6!!! I would really have been sick to drive across country and have that happen, guess I was meant to stay home!!Get those pictures posted!!! ROY.

It says it was "Restored",if that is true it must have been one rough car!! It looks like it was just thrown together, they could have spent more time aligning and cleaning it! JMO,ROY.

Took my old heap out in the sunlight for the first time in a few years today....then I took the wheels off and put them on a "non HAMB friendly" car. lol

Then I sprayed Round Up on my $&ity gravel driveway.

To make it work all together, I had to lower the bottom A arm 2 inches,I had to flip over the tie rod end to give it a 2 inch change, and I lowered the end of the strut rod mount 2 inch with a slight angle so that I can get max drop.Just to be safe on the spindle I put a C chanel around the weld area and a band of extra strap around the tie rod end.Stronger than new.Now I have the stance I want.

How about some Comet TV this morning.

Some crazy driving here.Wasnt ready for the pro tree.If you watch I keep rolling out of the staging lights so I couldnt get set up right to go.And for what ever reason I lined up outside the groove.Had to drive the crap out of the car to get it down the track, looks bad but it was fun.
