Kool! I was hoping that you guys would get the chance to get to Salina.... Looking
forward to our annual visit. We have a lot in common, we've been blessed with a
great wives. Probably we shouldn't get the two together....LOL!!

Hey, wheres the "Shoebox" list? I feel left out!

 

I'm pretty sure I'm out. Building is done this week, so now I have to move. Waaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!

 

That ****s Dave, Will you be through moving in to your building by the 17th? If not
I might not be able to stop in Conway on the way home... Ha, ha, ha. I'll take a lot
of pictures for ya, since you went to the King of gatherings at the GNRS, I owe ya one.

Last night Ron Myers slung some paint on Ben Mitchell's cartoon to make the gathering
art work just a bit wilder. I think that it is just purrfect. Thanks guys for your help.

That looks too cool Mick! Ya, I'm sick about not being able to go, but I have to get this deal wrapped up and over with. LOL. The heavy lifting will be done by the 17th, so you are still good. That will be a great time to stop because it will actually look like something before we start living in it and trash the place. LOL. Looking forward to you coming by. Enjoy your trip!

Hey guys, I'm p***ing thru IN on the Wednesday evening before the event. I plan on leaving the Metro Detroit area on Wed at approx 4-5pm and stopping for the night in Terra Haute. Will head out about 8am Thursday morning. What are your travel plans?? Maybe hook up and roll together?

 

Where is the location that we are going to meet at...time and place please.

I am going to leave Columbus. Thursday morning around 8am... Planing on driving around 600 miles getting a room. Then getting up early Fri. heading to the show.....

I'm not sure I can make it now. I am in the process of moving and it's taking almost all of my free time to get the new house ready.

 

Hi Mick. I'll be there with my new 49 Merc. You know the one with the olds grill and olds tail lights. It's the green one that was made in to a fast back. You know the one with an olds motor. See you next week

 

We will have an area reserved so we all can park together. I will be their early Thursday
to go over the show grounds. We will be kool all weekend because we will have plenty of
shade. This might be impossible, but I would like to have a group shot of all of the HAMB
Merc club together. Hopefully we can pull this off.

I planned on having the place reserved for Friday and Saturday, Is that kool?

Also I'll have posters, dash plaques and a few shirts to giveaway. I'll have enough posters
and dash plaques for every HAMB Merc club member that attends the Gathering.

For the guys that are not able to go I will be putting together an auction when I get back.

 

Good luck I'm out I might be picking up the car this weekend but the gl*** won't be installed.

Last Merc/Deuce Reunion 1999, the way things are going
it will be at Salina this weekend.-------BILL

 

Just put on a helmet and cruize on down. LOL!! Merc is looking killer kan't wait to see
it when it is all put together.....

Merc is getting cleared today, re***embly Tuesday and Wednesday, hopefully on the road Thursday. See ya there!

 

Put us on the list. Just took the 51 to the front end shop. Looks like we're going to make it. It's a project but it just moved under it's own power on Saturday.

Got the edmunds intake and 97's back on and tuned. So put on us the list we'll be there. This is our first trip to Salina. Leaving Duncan and the crack of dawn Friday. Looking forward to meeting the HAMB Merc crew. Here's an engine pic and a cool pic a local photographer took on a cruise a few months ago.

Very kool! Kongrats on getting it rolling down the road. Jeff and I were talking the other
day about checking out current projects at car shows. Seems like guys feel like it needs
to be almost finished before it is driven. I belive the longer you wait to drive it increases
the chances of getting burned out. Enjoy the cruize down....

I was pretty bumb'd out not getting to eat with ya guys.... We got home 12:30 Sunday
morning needless to say it was a long day. Sunday evening she started to feel a lot better
I'll make it up to ya by taking more pictures of Mercs then you did at Pomona... I hope my
thumb is up to the task....

That is good news Charley I'll put ya on the list. Kool to see another Okie Merc gonna make
the trip to Salina. I hope ya don't mind but I had to save the last picture of your Merc for
my Merc library. It was a kool pic...

Good to see the Merc coming along. . .and running under it's own power!! Look forward to seeing it in Salina.
I helped do a lot of the work on that one, including the top chop and did a step by step written story/do***entary on it getting to the point where you bought it from my friend (54 delray).
