Hello I was wondering if my fellow hambers could help me contact Dan King of "King Speed and Custom" he will not return my calls or emails and already has been paid to make a set of baffeled and coated zoomies for my SBF. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I dont want to be a complete ass but i paid for them on March 24th and have still yet to see them I am just asking for a estimated date of arrival and a tracking number ffom UPS when they finally ship.
i dont mind if he is slow at constructing the headers but the lack of communication is what is bothering me.
is there anyone that could stop by King Speed and Custom (dan king's shop in Ellensburg WA) for me and just inquire as to when my headers might be ready, it would really help me out. Thanks!!
my adventure of nearly killing him was erased and deleted. and yes he was nearly killed. his work is the work of a fool and a cheat.
heres the cold hard fact. YOU BEEN RIPPED OFF!!!!! Dan King is a thief, and NOBODY should deal with him. he took my money for headers almost 2 years ago, never got them and never was able to get in touch with him. it sucks to know he's still alive, but its comforting to know that speedbarrons tuned him up a little. hope you get your stuff, but i doubt it.
Just found this post which lead me to some other posts on this guy. He has a LOT of header ads on eBay right now. His headers are simple ... no collectors, just straight pipes welded to a flange. How is it that this clown can take up to 14 months to create such a simple product. Gotta say I too have a MIG, a TIG and a tube bender ... and I'm unemployed right now ... hmmmmmm. Oh, did I fail to mention I have integrity as well, something that appears to be COMPLETELY MISSING with this person. Once my car is back on the road (shooting for the end of Aug.) you just might find another supplier on eBay. Interesting thing is he has 100% positive feedback on eBay. Once any "issues" with this guy have been revealed too much time has passed for the purchaser to leave any bad feedback on their transaction.
If any one has his mailing address i can contact the better buisness buearu and let them have a crack at it.... im also considering using the ic3.gov site to report him, they investigate theft and fraud involving the internet and then decide what agancy should investigate further (sheriffs office, local police, fbi...) and possably prosecute. I urge others who have had the same problem to join me. Thanks.

Just go on eBay and do the buy it now on all his auctions, that will get his attention... And the sellers fees will add up real fast too.
he refuses to answer his phone or return any voice mail messages, i havent heard from him in about 7 or 8 weeks
that sounds like a great idea! send a question about the item for sale asking about delivery time "how long would it take to send them to the south carolina?" you can also contact the washington state attorney general.
Did you get your headers yet? I have been trying to contact him about mine. I paid for them on May 14th.
I paid for a set of headers from Dan king king speed-n-custom on march 1st 2010 they were for a 455 olds so I had to contact him directly for a custom order. They were going to be a gift to my father for his rat rod. after about 3 months he would no longer take my calls. I contacted the Washington State Attorney generals office and filed a complaint. He would not respond to them they recently contacted me telling me there was nothing else they could do for me. If any body has any kind of line on this guy I would appreciate any info I could get he needs a complete ass whipping but I would be satisfied with filing a complaint with the Spokane pd and getting him busted.
geez this guy has more HAMB-space dedicated to his nefarious antics than I'd suppose anyone would deserve. He sounds like someone that is most guilty of taking on way more than he can accomplish. Accepting payment, then when the orders pile up, he gets overwhelmed and just refuses to return calls. He doesn't want to refund money, because I'd guess he's already spent it and just has more orders than someone can possibly complete in the time slot expected. I don't understand why a state agency cannot fine this jerk or rescind his license. BBB really can't do anything if he's not a member. Perhaps a few of the more "aggressive" HAMBers from WA can pay a visit to this guy and explain the facts of life to him - emphatically. dj

Sorry we can't prosecute the guy because he won't call us back? how are you guys paying this ass? if you used a credit card, file a complaint with them. if you mailed him a check doesn't that fall under the federal mail fraud category??
I paid him through Paypal and here is something you all should know. after 40 days you cannot contest a transaction with paypal. He obviously knows this and strings you along until the 40 days is up. He then cuts off all communication and you are hosed. The funds for the transaction came from my credit card via my paypal account I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and it is pending.
i found out about the 40 day thing too....friggen sucks.. i have tried paypal, the BBB, the Spokane sherriffs dept, and the attorney generals office, im going to contine to call and email this guy till i either get my 500.00 or untill the end of time
I wish you luck I am only into it for 350.00 but I agree if it takes forever. I am going to get my money back. I live about 2 hrs from Spokane. I am not above taking a little road trip to square this up. I just have no idea where to look for this scumbag.
