Larry was workin on finishing up his book with the help of Thom Taylor. It was supposed to debut at the Showcase of Kustoms in Sept.. I'm guessin that's still the plan.

here's one I helped shifter marky a little bit on.. totally watson/winfield inspired
it was gold with rainbow flake, and candy tangerine scallops and lace

and the matching one for his girlfriend. this was the first paing job, candy pink with silver fogging.

and the second version with flake and silver scallops

  18. I've always been a huge Watson fan. He was THE influence for my car. It is the first car I ever painted.I really don't think their is any other painter/customiser with a more readily recognizable and distinct style.
If you like Watson and don't own a copy of the book Kustomland you owe it to yourself to get a copy. You will not be disapointed. Todd

Kripfink, I had a dream about your panel this morning, you were all over the place, you crashed the rear quarter in and said, "It's nothing, it'll be fixed likkety split."

  23. The thing about this car, when it was in the gnrs 2010 it didn't say ANYTHING about Watson on the sign or anything...Just saying, however it is very cool!

Well, I'll let you in to a little secret. The throttle stuck on about 2 weeks after the flake & kandy paint job, and crunched the passenger side front fender in to another cars rear quarter! How the hell he did it, I really don't know, but Jim managed to strip, straighten, lead the fender and front roll pan, and match the paint EXACTLY. I mean, you can't even see the join unless you look real hard when it's pointed out to you.
    Spooky huh?
