Oh yeah, I bought this 59 AB yesterday from my Uncle. I think of it as a wedding present to myself. It may go in this car eventually.

BTW...your T is freakin cool an you'll have a blast on the wedding day. One thing we didn't want to do is make the day about the cars. We wanted it to be about us so we only did very few car pics.

    Have fun!!!!!!

Good advice, love the cars and the chucks! Almost forgot, Bridesmaids ride in a '51 Ford Crestliner, groomsmen ride in a '53 Dodge. Nice pics too.

Just gotta say it, beautiful cars - and wife to be also (but aren't they all?)

One thing though, don't post a picture of the future Mrs. FishSlayer next to a booth for performance lubricants. Just sayin'.

My wife and I drove my 59 and her 51 from Chicago to Maryland to get married on her grandparent's farm. 2 cars made it there... but we came back in a rental car... pregnant with twins. :D Eventually the 59 made it back. It's a long story. If you want, you can read about it here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194331

These are kinda late, and not from our professional photographer, but here are some from the wedding. Again, thanks for all the input and ideas. Especially Abe Lugo; the flowers in the bed, etc in your photoshop, I had the groomsmen check it out before decorating.

I bought and gave my wife the '49 as a wedding gift, she told me once she wanted an old car, so now she has one.

  22. Congratulations!

  23. the head scarf was a great idea, nothin worse than having to pick burnt rubber outa your new brides hair!

not a hot rod, but traditional none-the-less.

  28. Not a hot rod, but --

In 2006, this young couple at our church wanted us to transport them to their
reception in the Plymouth.........so we did. Going to do same for another couple
on the 30th of this month. Made a sign for the trunk and tied some tin cans on the
back. They thought it was great fun. As we drove down the street, people p***ing
by honked and waved and called congratulations to them.

The attention you get from driving an old car, especially a clean convert like yours, is the cats ***. When you add a wedding party, loud tin cans and signs the attention is doubled. Good looking car!

    Lets see some more!
