Hot Rods New jersey hambers the runs!!!!!!!

ok summer is half way done and we are pretty lame because nothing happens here. i want to get the ball rolling on a ''meet and run'' kinda like a one night stand. im just throwing out the idea to start out at the beach and run to another beach by taking backroads. so im thinking start at red bank and take backroads like 520 to somewhere by the 537 area to 539 and end up by seaside area and then grab a beer and a bite to eat. then go our seperate ways. i need some input! so lets get something going bitches!

Hope you can get it going. Ocean beaches and hotrods would be great.

Sounds good to me. We need to find a beach area where we won't be overrun by tourists and have plenty of safe parking for our cars. And OC is out cause it's a dry town haha

It's a damn shame that you can't drive on the beach.

Do they still do the Wildwood show with the cars on the boardwalk? I spent a week every year there in the 50s. I'd love to go back again someday.

Maybe the DEADMAN CURVE PARTY / Wed Aug 1st ..Could be the Xcellent place.. Maybe they can hold some spots!

How about a run to Acto Raceway in the heart of the pine barrens. They have 2 shows coming up.

i knew you would be down. yea we need as many ideas as we can get. i think we should do a diffrent place every month. like one up in north jersey then one in south jersey and rotate but im not gonna do all the fiugureing myself i know most of the central jersy backroads but ill need some help for the up north and south runs also. so lets hear some ideas!

 

Pat just count me in as long as it's Saturday nite or on a Sunday. I still work on friday nites so that's out for me. Anyway I can help out let me know. And as far as moving it around the state just tell me which way to point the truck and I'm there.

We have a crew heading over to the Wildwood run Sept. 23-26th. You are right that it is a bit of a musclecar fest, but each year there are a few more traditional cars. We had an absolute ball there last year and we are going in force this year. I was hoping we might have a bit of a hang there this year. Since Truriano isn't mayor anymore the cops have way backed off. If the promoters there would remember that it's a car show and not another motocross event it would be even better. Wildwood used to be the best run of the year. It only started to suck because the rod guys decided to boycott over some stupid shit. I go every year to the Fall run and have a good time. Give it one more try and you'll be impressed. Hook up with us at the American Safari.

I do long for the good old days when no stock cars were allowed in the streets on Saturday night though. Last year, the club I was in, Aces and Eights, Pennsylvania, won club award. Anybody who knows any of us is aware we were a very traditional club with many of the members on here.
