Checking in............ My name is Scotty. 25 year old college student. I am a young buck but have been into hot rods/cl***ic trucks since I was old enough to walk. Hot rods have helped put me through school. I worked at a hot rod shop for a while and spent alot of time buying/selling vintage parts to pay for my living expenses and my projects. Been married 3 years now to a gorgeous woman who supports and loves my hot rodding addictions. Just sold my 1957 ford shortbox. Had that truck since I was 16. I have also owned a 1958 Ford f100 shortbox, a 65 ford econoline, and just purchased a 1950 chevy 1/2 ton shortbox. Glad to be a part of the H.A.M.B and appreciate the advice and help from all of you seasoned vetrans!

Well short term plans are to slap a 4 inch dropped axle in it with some lowering blocks for the back and drive the wheels off. Long term plans are to do some suspension/steering work and slap the 'vette 327 that I just picked up in it. I am also working on trading my buddy out of a dual quad intake and carbs for the 327! Not %100 sure about what wheel/tire combo I will end up running. Good thing I have time to think about it!
