History Anyone remember The Dat-Rod ??

Dick Dean WAS the essence of traditional hotrodding. If he thought about it, he built it and never worried about what anybody else thought. He never stopped building stuff and in many cases, someone else got the credit.
That was a cool idea at the time and it still is a cool idea.

Oh yes I remember this well,.... didn't really like it,... that's why I remember it.

SHHHHHH ! I think this one slipped under the wire, cause most of the "that's not traditional gestapo" wasn't even born, or were in grade school when this car came out.

I have a Idea !,... I propose, To be a REAL "Traditional Hot Rodder" you have to be at least 55 years old !,..... If your younger than that, you are classified with Fiberglass bodies, Billet Aluminum,... and reproduction everything !
