I don't get it Mods....you close everything I put up. Tell me why...is there some kind of black list or something. I would ask you myself and tried to send this, but you don't accept any PM's, so I have to post on here. I can't post on my own thread now? I'm confused.

Maybe because it really had nothing to do with traditional hot rods and customs.

so people can post a question about pictures of their garages and what color is the best for their club jackets, but I can't post about getting advice about keeping my wife involved in my p***ion for the hotrods? Sure, it had everything to do with the traditional rods and customs.

I only see one thread that the mods closed on you......why do you say they close *everything you put up?*

when people ask about garages you will notice that they get sent to http://www.garagejournal.com/
and I haven't seen a club jacket post in a while. Maybe you should start one to see if you are truly blacklisted? Otherwise lighten up, if you didn't get the answer to your question in the 3 pages of ******** then maybe they figured you weren't gonna get it. And for the record it still has nothing to do with traditional hot rods and customs.

This one won't likely enhance your track record. It happens to all of us. Don't sweat it.

You should post about "speed boats" "vintage lawn mowers" "pinto drag cars"
or just start your post with "I know its Off topic but....."
and I bet it doesn't get pulled! 'cause all that stuff has so much to do with trad & customs & hot rods.

Quit f*#cking crying! I was in an accident and almost died on July 3rd, Racrdad started a "wish him well" thread and they canned it. If you want advice for your wife, try Dr. Phil!

BTW, I have had 5 posts closed or deleted since april. One of which, I said the r-word and got yanked. I'll give you that one. The others, not so much. I just wanted some idea as to if others dealt with the same thing. Not trying to tick off the peeps on here. I really enjoy and value the information on here. I love to see the rides. I just think that there is some kind of hidden agenda and double standard.

It may be time for The HAMB to have an off topic section where everyone can post their off topic questions.

The site is very large, and a lot of people here respect each other's opinions on both hot rod and non hot rod related topics.

Some guys might want to ask each other what to do when their dishwasher stops working, or where's a good place to eat while they're out of town.

Might be cool to have a sub section where folks who consider other folks on the HAMB as friends can talk some ****, it would also help clean up the main board of off topic posts.

I think that the folks who run the forum are adults and THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT!

Besides, if everyone is picking on you there might be a reason. :D

That's my point robleticia. I'm sorry you had a serious accident. I think having a page to wish someone well is exactly about people in the hobby. I don't know the reason they gave for closing/deleting your thread, but that's what I'm talking about. I hope that you are doing better and back to turning a wrench or two.

i personally moderate on a couple of forums outside of the hamb and if we don't like what we see or hear we shut it down. i'm pretty sure you accepted a user agreement that probably said something along the lines of "our house, our rules" and sometimes the rules get made up as you go along.

the user that started the theme song thread happens to be a paying alliance vendor (they also seem to have a tendency to start a lot of other pointless threads but it does foster up activity on the slow days) so i'm willing to bet they get some wiggle room when a normal user gets shut down. don't forget that the hamb or any other forum is not a democracy where everyone has the right to be heard and do whatever they want. ha, not hardly. is it fair? i dunno. but life's never fair is it so why expect some internet forum to be?

my only advice to you is that if you don't like it post somewhere else. ultimately the mods and admins can do whatever the **** they want. maybe not fair or unbiased but it's true.

on a side note i'd personally like to get involved in a discussion about getting or keeping the spouse on my side of things.

Sssshhh but it's a secret... power and speed. or speed and power...

and who's gonna pay for that bandwidth? It looks like a lot of the people commenting on this thread can't even get off their *** to join the Alliance and support the site. Bandwidth is not free.

I thought they were generous to let the thread run its course. Relax dude, and post some good, worthwhile content. While you're at it... be a better husband and don't seek advice here. You're a grown-up, you know what's right already.

Im sitting in my car at 20 minutes past midnight, at the waste water pit of an abboittoirs, 22 hours intoa waste water recycling trial.......and I'd rather go back to work than be on the HAMB.

Look at THIS thread....not one ****ing single car.

pfffffft....Hamb's been going downhill since Buddy Holly died.
