    Great front engine top fuelers!

Tell me, where did it all go?

Looks like fun then, not now!

Guess it is just the way it is!

Time for some Jack Daniels and a honeybun

I keep seeing pics of the outside of the timing towers from places loke OCIR and DIMS . Does anybody have pics of what the insides looked like. This particular thread is what caused me to recognize and join the HAMB. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

i did take pictures from the ocir tower one winter when scta rented it; must have been around 75ish ????

but, quite a few of my snap shots were lost in a pebble beach shooting.

now, that is quite a coincidence as i lived in maine for several years and did a bit of announcing from the 1/8-mile track with the sports director from wlam (can't remember his name right now; his wife was an area politico).

i also introduced meat loaf in a concert at oxford plains.

    just an expression. :D

an expression that i and the unnamed person responsible for losing all of my pictures would use to assign blame accordingly.

for instance: we crashed the car on the 42nd lap in a milka duno-involved shooting.

WOW MUTTLEY,thanks for taking the pictures off EBAY and cropping the photographers name off of them.GREAT to see such talent and hard work, photos are the fine work of B.Swain.

  23. Gotcha. I like the Milk and Donuts reference. similar to when I did some Indy car pitting and everyone would talk about King Hero. Seems that the moving chicane known as Hiro Matsushita cut off a well known driver who yelled over the radio about it, but he keyed the Mic late so "Fucking Hiro" came over as King Hero ....

Sure, no problem. Sorry "B. Swain" whoever you are.  I wasnt trying to be sneaky by cropping them, I did so because the borders and names look like crap. If you dont want them reposted on forums then either dont post them on the internet or put some kind of a mark on them so it makes them a waste of time to do so. Like this:
