    I agree

  23. no action on the 54 and i've dropped it as low as i can go , I may have to satisfied w the 41 and keep this thing under my hat until i put enough scratch together, If it had a title, I'd buy it now , but I need a car THIS spring, no time to fight w MN DOT over a registration . Its not lost yet but the longer I hold off the more the chance it goes to some kid who knows nothing of these cars AGAIN

I do! Well, sorta.... At least I have all the body panels and the solid front axle in.

Crap loads of stuff to do, but I WILL be driving it to Paso this year.....

Thanks, It's got a tired '73 350, '68 muncie m-22, and a '72 chevelle 12 bolt with 4.30 gears. I found the tilt in a field with cracks and holes in it. I radiused the wheelwells, rebuilt the 12 bolt (it had 2.73 open rear), painted it john deere blitz black. and found some old bucket seats in a junk yard from a '75 mustang that already had the headrests removed. Right now I have the front suspension half way out and plan on ball joint spacers and I hope a lift of 2 more inches in the front. Then either the motor work or welding new floor and trunk pans.

  29. Thanks beatnik and 63cadguy and everyone else! For what it's worth, i put just under 20.000 miles on the Willys in 2 years. NO TRAILER QUEEN! It's got chips, scratches, and stuff (luckily didn't show in the magazine!) to prove it. Ya gotta fuckin' drive em.
