I remember from the 70's there was a beer that came in a huge tall bottle.
But it was an odd brand and can't think of the name off hand.

Mirror reverse image or brain fade?

I had the photo of the Ute and wanted to post a sedan first, but ....... well you saw the result.

 

First Falcon Motor - Australia.

Used car lots had much better choices back then.

 

They were Chrysler Valiant in the main, but, there were some low spec models badged as Dodge.
Motive power was 225 cu. in slant6, some V8's and, then there was the Hemi utes - 215 cu in, 245 cu in, 265 cu in an Australian straight6:

I'm 78 so my memories go back to the thirties in New England and Boston. I can almost "hear" the sounds of the 30's Ford V8's engines and gear changes. I was a great admirer at the side of a suburban road of all vehicles, chain drive trucks and "steamrollers". In Boston I watched major construction using pile drivers, etc. Scenes of wet city streets after a refreshing rain bring back memories. Yeah, I recently heard someone point out that we now are closer in time to 2060 than to 1960.

 

Wow, I'm 61 and that really is a wake-up call.
Never thought of it that way.

 

I'll be 60 in October and your numbers are brownin' me out, man! First Dennis Hopper from EASY RIDER dies, then you guys throw a wet blanket on my '60s trip. Wow. Just bummer. Bummed . . .

(LOL, but, yeh, I'll be 60 in October, so knock that crap off, 'k???)
