Motion Pictures Heart Like a Wheel coming on HBO in about 10mins! 9:10PT

I've always loved this movie,especially the beginning. Lots of cool drag race stuff....

 

Shirley hated that******.

 

Filmed in my town. The gas station is still up. And the bumpy hill road is about a half mile from me

 

They filmed in Oly? did not know that.

 

I just got an autographed picture from Cha Cha a few months ago at a speed shop car show in Chino, CA. Understand that she is no fan of the movie.

And most of the racers hated her too. She did an interview a few months back & pretty much***** on every racer she ever faced. Then she laid into all the female racers today- saying they wouldn't be***** w/o her leading the way. A real piece of work.
I never liked her. I watched the movie (again) - acting is terrible, story is lame hollywood but lots of vintage footage, cars & racers in the background. I mostly watch it for my old friend & announcer Steve Evans. RIP

 

Hahaha I just watched it! Haven't seen that one in years, but it sure is better after about 5 Coors Lights!*****eous acting but great drag footage...and Bonnie Bedelia was pretty hot for a lady of the 80's.
