Hi everyone... I'm currently the driver of various interesting vintage cars, including the jolly nice 1926 Alvis 12/50 below. I'm hoping to get my hands on a Model A in the near future for some VSCC hillclimbing, and also the Flathead Meltdown which sounds fantastic. This forum seems to be the place to be for a bit of shared wisdom, not to mention some amazing stories and images.
Oh, and I take a few pics here and there too. Some from Bakerfield 2008, where the Ford banger hillclimb car idea was hatched... (with my mate Bob (R in bottom pic), who used to drive that Freight Train)
Ta everyone... Keith - indeed. Are you at Prescott this weekend? Bit of a trek in the Alvis, so I think we're going modern. It's a lovely car - totally original, and the car the Alvis Register have on their Xmas card! Would love to see some pics of your Roadster...
Yes we will be there on Sat (can't make Sunday) shame we won't see the Alvis The Roadster needs work to get it legal ! Cheers Keith . .
