    What would it be???

We were in the hotel parking lot at the NSRA Nat's and the subject came up by another guy in the group that if he had a million dollars and could buy a car what would it be.

So the question is, if you had a cool million to spend and it had to be spent on a car or cars, what would they be. No fair, can't build one, gotta be already built.

A Rudy Rodriguez Model A roadster, a Gary Howard Shoebox Kustom, A Bill Hines chopped Merc, a Kennedy Bros Model A Coupe. Anything left over would buy a piece of land in Austin with a killer pole barn to turn into my man cave.

  3. Absolute fav vehicle ... Brinks Truck, fully loaded. Don't even get me started on what cars I would buy after that one:).

You can't build it makes it tough ... it would be something traditional and a Deuce 5 window for starters.

Way too many to list.. I'd start off with a o/t '69 Z/28 in Fathom green like the one I used to own.. And maybe the "Little Deuce Coupe" if it were for sale at a good price... Yeah right! :D

I'd sell my cars to my wife, then give her the money needed to build em, then buy em all back, since you said I couldn't build em.

Life is getting short for me so I would try for the Neikamp '29. If that were out of reach I'd replace the '67 Vette 427/435 hp 4spd. coupe my wife had to sell when I had my accident in 1988.

First I would buy a 56 Chevy Bel Air convertible in green and white for my dad. He had one back in the day and always talks about it. Then I would buy this for me.

My pick would be Fred Fleet's, Jackie Howerton track roadster. Its a very tasty combination of Miller Indy racecar, lakes roadster and *****in' hot rod with unrivaled fabrication. I have only seen it in its semi-finished state in "The Rodders Journal" issue 38 (circa January/February 2008), but I dream about that car at night.

  20. AC Cobra, '58 Eldo, '60 Pontiac convertable, anything Auburn or Deusenberg. Z06 Vette, Viper, Old Jeep.

Or I'd make a drawing of something cool and commision it. Take it to a builder and say "BUILD IT!"

    I'd probably have a chopped Merc sled. I'd probably have a Nailhead-powered '32 3-Window. I'd probably have a custom '57 Buick. I'd probably have a Lamborghini of some kind.

    I hate this question. :D

Any open-wheeled Alpha, Maserati, or Ferrari from the 30s or 40s era would do it for me.

With a million bucks, you could have bought 2 of the newer ones back in '05 and '06 and still have enough cabbage for a nice $300,000 home and a little left over for retirement. :D
