I can't lie I'm a little scared, snakeskin green is pretty wild, but I do consider myself to be a custom guy, I'd never thought purple for a 50 Caddy, but 9 out of 10 people seem to like Nadine's color, so I guess we'll see what happens. :D

NO...This is a wild, heavy pearl metalic,(reminds me alot of HOK limetime green) I seen a viper wrapped in ths color and I was blown away, it flips like HOK shimmeran pearls, I was actually shocked that it was a stock color, but then again it was on a Viper, so that aint you everyday car, at least not around here!! Google the color, and let me know what you think.

i'll be honest, i do like the color but it isn't a color i'd paint a Cadillac with. now you just have to gold plate those wire wheels. hahaha just kidding man. i'm looking forward to seeing it painted.

I've been trying to think of some other wild colors, but I keep comming back to this one, I thought about some type of gold, and I think that would look pretty good, thought about some dark silver or gunmetal grey, and I think that would look good, but I don't want a stock look, if it were your car what color would you go with, I think my painter ordered the paint today, so it may be to late, but just in case I'd still like some ideas, I just can't come up with anything that's custom that I really like better.

i'm sure it will come out looking really good and i have to eat my words. how long until you get it back?

i am going to keep my car looking as stock as possible so when it comes that time i'm gonna repaint mine in a factory color, but i'll add in some flake or pearl to spice it up. i love the Antique Gold color Cadillac had. when i was looking to purchase a Cad i wanted one in that color but they're hard to find. That is at the top of my list but i don't think it would look good with an all black interior.

i'll save the wild colors for a kustom, mini truck or one of those West Coast Customs type of cars, lol. my brother has a WRX and i love the blue on it.

Beleive, it or not this guy has two guys that work with him, and when they get a car in the shop they get right on it and stay on it from what he says, and the guy that reffered him to me, told me the same thing, he said he will have the car dechromed, and have all the stainless off by the end of this week, and he's talking about taking the fenders, and doors off, and what's crazy is he says he's planning on having my car finished within 6-8 weeks if not before, he said that's the only way he can make any money, he's going to block it all out, spray it and cut and buff it, and he's pretty reasonable, I've seen his work on a buddy of mines car, and it's slick, he got his car as a basket case, pulled the engine done the engine bay, trunk, had the car all apart, even had to put the dash, guages, all wiring, and a vinyl top on it, and it took him 6.5 months, but I ain't rushing him. This is hard for me to beleive, because most shops here won't touch an old car, and the ones that do tell you a paint job will take about 2-3 months, and it takes a year or longer if your lucky.

cool man! you gonna have stuff rechromed while the car is at paint?

i would love to strip my car down as much as possible when its time for paint but these Cads are such a pain 'cause everything is bolted to something else which is then bolted to something else. it would be worth the work to strip the car but the idea of painting the car as one piece sounds so much easier, haha.

I just got the car back from the chrome shop, had the bumpers, window switch covers, hood, and trunk trim chromed, and the grill was taken out, and powder coated, and polished, but he's fixing to take all that back off, and I'm going to have the hood v, door handels, top of the fender blinker housings, and hopefully the vent window frames plated, while the car is apart...Man I really hope this car turns out cool, straight, and slick, I know these cars are not the most desireable bodystyles, and I'll probably have way more in it than it'll be worth, but I like the car, and I think it's a cool bodystyle...should look cool sittin beside Nadine.:D

Cutting the coils is temporary I wanna bag it. Other than that it needs paint and body but that can wait...Also wanna change the exhaust to run out the back because it dumps right in front of the rear wheels and fils the cabin, but thats lioke sweet perfume to me! Ha!!!! IM JUST GONNA CRUISE IT!!!
