Straighten up that droopy door handle. Makes it look old and worn. Clean up those whitewalls. Detail it yourself so you get familiar with it.

I hope you meant small block Mopar... Put a SBC in that and Walter P. Chrysler will rise up from the dead and smack you upside the head!

Nice car, but I'm with the other guys: lose the trailer hitch, decal, antenna and the silly headlight eyelids and you're good to go. :p

I think a big car like this would be neat with a ferocious exhaust tone and stock appearance. If you go smallblock, make it look 50's corvette. I'd leave it alone though, neat car.

I like it a lot H***e. Maybe add a pair of skirts and some lowering in the rear and like all the rest say, some serious whitewall cleaning.

Hey Norrland, I've got a nice DeSoto 341 hemi (partially rebuilt) with a 6x2 intake just waiting for you to pick it up! I'm only about 400 km away. :D

    I like the eyelids ...

Beautiful car. I would drive it as is, just without the hitch/antenna/sticker.

    That thing is NUTS!!

Love those Early (Art Deco Styled) Desotos, Cadillacs and Chevy's!

I would personally leave it as is, and have it as a daily!

Or, VERY, Very Mild Custom touches...... E.g, Lowering (As is), Maybe a slight roof chop- Done!

    Less is More!

K.I.S.S-Keep It Simple Stupid........... My mentality If I had it!

    Enjoy it!

You could raise the rear a little... or you could drop the rear some more...
Regardless, fix those dammed droopy door handles!

Neat car. If the motor doesn't have the poop you want, do something about that. Otherwise, wash and wax it! Gary

  20. I got the car now. Just the way i want it was. A little wear and tear....;)

I guess you could paint it matte black and the wheels glossy red :p

Actually I am with the clean it up drive the hell out of it crowd. If anything I would go with chrome reverse wheels and spiders ... but that is just how I am. Great car ... have a blast with it !!!!

I think it looked fine with all the trim on it. With the trim going around the roof line you could mild chop it 3-4 inches and just paint the roof and slap the trim back on.

  24. This is what happend today!

My friend Putte (from the club) used his swordsweaper and did some striping on the car.

Here u can see some pics.

Dump the eyelids & the front bumper guard & you're off to a good start.

Niceeee lines, that guy can stripe!

I love that photoshop of it with a different roof... Those Mopars have such an ugly roof stock IMO. I'd take an inch or two outta the front, and 3-4 outta the back.

Great looking car though. Enjoy her.
