swcmaz, Thanks for posting pics of the Mister "T" Corvette. I'd like to see more pictures of it. Love the Psycodelic paint jobs of the era.

My buddy Rusty Delling drove that car after Vic, and he is the one that had the nasty crash in it at Lions. It kicked the rods out, banged the blower, the blower hit him in the face knocking him out, and then crashed hard. He was critically injured and quit driving funnys after that.

One of these days I'm going to have to tell you how I got involed in drag racing.

My first drag race was in '59 at Lancaster dragway in PA. Never forget that race as I lost $5.00 that night as the last run was between a cycle & a dragster and there was no way a dragster was going to lose to a cycle.

It cost me $5.00 to find out I was wrong. Big money in '59. LOL

Sure could have been, but impossible to read the name. Could it have been Dick Bourgoise?

Not Dick for sure. Probaly was Rich if I rember right but I year Big John fired Arnie Beling I think. I also think it was a later style 'Cuda.

Photo 6 was a sad day for all drag racers.

Photo 7 & 8 is the sweetheart of Drag Racing, JUNGLE PAM.
