Tee, I'd kill for this Hudson, man! I wouldn't change anything, except swapping to right wheels and a 308 Twin-H under the hood. Anybody peg the correct year? '42 straight eight of the poured-bearings type, maybe?

JalopyJunkie, sad scene, eh? This would have been on
Babe Ruth Day at Yankee Stadium, just months before
the Bambino's death from cancer. He told a former team
mate who asked how he felt that he felt sued up by the
disease. You can see he's a shadow of himself. For the
presentation, he's said to have borroed Bob Feller's bat
to use as an impromtu cain so he could stand for the
crowd on hand to honor him.

Hey! Isn't this 88 the car that went off the cliff in the "chicken" game in "Rebel Without a Cause" ??? (But, yeah, nobody sane would have wasted the 303!)

Dog, that '56 Firedome fourdor has it all --
deluxe headlight bezels & spears just like
the Adventurer, sun visor, plus AC! The
two-tone plum was a popular color combo,
too. Even cooler if it was a 2DH Sportsman,
though. Thanks for the DeS pic, bro!
