    1935 Ford Coupe on the farm with an odd hood ornament: it looks more like a Buick ornament than other Fords of the time, or it could be aftermarket. There also appears to be an interesting 'fin' running down the center of the hood, but that could be something in the background. Taken in the mid-1930s.

    Looks like a three-horse team with the big boy being a gray mule. No wonder so many influential people and the early AAA were campaigning for better inter-city roads and major highways! In-town streets improved before vast stretches linking up towns & cities. The U.S.Route system started to get funded in the '20s, as I recall. I know that a lot of people put their cars up on blocks in winter and drained the blocks, as they just didn't think the automoible could do the job in winter.
