Hey, your Zaust pipes are supposed to be on the bottom side!

 

Mine is still under the construction It need aluminium intake risers and linkages,also "few" tune-ups is in "have to do" list

 

EFI right? do it yourself kit or did you get it?

 

here's one in a friends 30 Chrysler.

 

One of my guys made these at school for the International.



It's let me get just a little farther. Now it's linkage time.

 

Re-casted these from one of the original front covers (left rear) from the "SHOWBOAT" repop. I have 4 left out of 7. all signed by IVO and numbered.

Yep,diy kit. I run with Haltech GM 6 box...maybe someday,when i get maps to right level
And i will try to hide all efi stuff

Persistance does pay off. I've been trying for a year to get my buddy to unload one of his factory 2-4 setups and he finally broke.

Super Wildcat air cleaner is a freakin umbrella. Got a buddy that is making me some 5" tall stacks to put between the carbs and the air cleaner to raise it up so you can see the carbs. Hood clearance on the 50 sedan delivery is not a prob.

 

Although I don't have pics right now I have a 401 with finned valve covers that have NAILHEAD embossed in them and 4 webers atop. Thanks goes to EELCO for the valve covers.

 

I really like pic #2.I have a 440 powered truck,48 Ford 1/2 ton roadster p/u.Would love to have a cross ram just for the look.

Love the nailhead!! I drove all the way from Phoenix to El Paso to get a 425 for the coupe!!

 

For that, I would make the same drive. Congratulations!

this nailhead might have the most balanced combination of color & sparkley that i've ever seen. you nailed it (no pun intended). some folks build engines that have nearly everything either chromed or polished aluminum. they spend a lot of ca$h; they do a lot of work; but there's no visual contrast and it turns out bland.

It's not my car, but I took the picture at the local "Tower" car show last spring for all of the same reasons that you mentioned. I like to see a variety of surface finishes and textures, tasteful chrome, polished metal and a snappy paint scheme. I love the nailheads, and really liked what this guy did.

This Nailhead was in this T-bird when raced in the 60s by John Fabella of Corona NY. I gave the motor to Fred Kinnery from IL. I'm looking for info on the T-bird I sold it around 1973 to a guy from Old Bethpage LI. NY.
