    Jason,
Aren't you just a little old for a 12 year old ? Just kiddin, just kiddin. Nice to have a sweet rider, one you can pet and wont give you any lip.
By the way, how come you didn't change your gears before you left N.C.
Thats a lllooonnnggg trip turnning those high revs. I guess if you stay mellow enough it dont make no difference.

I envy you; Be safe and stay cool.

Jason, it wasn't until now that I realized we stayed at the same hotel in Wendover. I was in the green '53 Chevy wagon. Great story, I envy you. Have fun on the rest of our trip. Larry

Little late now but when driving in really hot and dry air, a damp towel over your head will creat a cool micro climate through evaporative cooling. You can experience a 10 degree difference as the air blows over and through the towel and evaps the moisture from it.

Yes it looks stoopid but at 113 who cares?????????

Jason, I took a few pictures of your car on the salt, wish I would have met ya. The best car I ever owned was my 63 Fairlane 500 Sporst Coupe. Looked just like yours except my interior was green...Loved that car so much. When I saw yours, I had to stop and take some pictures. Glad to see a 63 make it to Bonneville.

Bryan, Sasha, and I made it to Louisville. Bryan flies home from here. I thought we were in Indiana, that is what the sign said going over the 22nd bridge in 2Miles. This place is full of bridges. We might go to the Kentucky state fair. Got lots of time to kill before I get Bryan to the airport.

400miles and I am home. I am looking forward to being home, but I miss the good times with great friends. I have a few videos to clean up, and more to post later.

I wanted to Thank Ryan and crew for putting a great event, Ryno for the hospitality, Everyone for the great times.

he did have a girl pee next to his car Sat. night in the parking lot. It was all he could talk about for about an hour. She grabbed the handle and squatted.

Had a great time buddy, except for the heat. Had a better time this year since I didn't have to babysit you, that much ;-)
It was fun taking your car down the track even if it was spinning past the 330ft mark.

Sitting in the terminal for a few hours surfing the web and watching planes takeoff and land.

You have to expect the girl to pee outside, they were from Arkansas and probably don't have indoor plumbing..haha

Ryno, nice to meet you. Can't wait to see the car when you get it finished.

I am back in asheville nc. The fairlane is washed. Sasha is happy. I wish I was Still on the road. WhAt an amazing trip. I talked to Ed Brace when I got home. Had to thank him for the chance to be a crew member. He kept thanking me, that man is nicer to me than my family. Anyone need a quick mechanic somewhere else?

  13. Hey, look here y'all! Just cuz she's from Arkansas doesn't mean she don't recognize a fencepost to lean on!!!!!
Heavytlc, good to talk with you beside my gray Tudor! Take care and see you next year!

Patrick2965 it was good to meet you. I always have a lot of fun. I remember onion bowling with a few guys 2005, some of them are world famous now. I think some of the hardcore party crowd needs to step up and police the parking lot. I will bring the trAsh. Bags and the new rules. I am serious. I don't like my favorite pastime looking bad in the public eYe.

  15. I saw you picking up trash Sunday morning at the hotel. You're a good egg.

Sasha and I have made it home to the shop in South Carolina. I should have made a detour on the way home. My life is not any where close to cool, but DAMN it was a good trip. The Fairlane wants to keep driving, and so do I. Hope everyone made it home safe, I want to see everyone again...

Glad to hear you made it home safely.
Sunday's drive was brutal without my stereo working. I do appreciate you looking at it on Sunday morning and trying to figure out what was wrong.
Hope to see you soon. Xoxo

Sorry I could not get the radio working. My favorite part of building a car is wiring and plumbing. I was a little hung over Sunday, imagine that. You are always such a smiling ,happy person to be around. It is because of friends like you that the HAMB Drags are so special. I missed the cookies.

  26. Ha! Just now found this thread, I saw you out there. Nice to meet you, glad to hear you had a good time. Good luck with the headers.

Yes in style is fun. I wanted to keep going down the road. I spent the night in the backseat of the Fairlane at the house in North Carolina, Sasha was up front. I love the road, stopping for fuel, and life sucks...

I have a iphone jack under the front seat, 2 8"subs and 2 6x9's makes the drive better, but I only had music for about 10hours of a 60-70hour ride. I enjoyed the company when I had it, the rest of the time I was hammer down...
