Wow Cleatus-- that is awesome. Here is my newest bike. We built this one. 6.5 horse engine from Harbor Freight. Very fast yet well balanced and easy to ride. <center>

Damn, I still like that bike the best out of everything I've seen.
Ok, so what is the lever coming off the centrifugal clutch/jackshaft?

I have had a ton of fun this summer riding these bikes. Gonna take a couple of them to some indoor car shows this winter. They will be easy to transport and display. Great low budget fun.

what are you using for the rear pullys and drive belts/chains,ect. We had picked up one of those harbor Freight engines but I have an old 1952 Briggs engine sitting in the garage that would be perfect on a bike like this. I also have an old bike with a front end that has springs. Old bikes can be picked up for next to nothing.
But really would like to know what you are using for the drive part of it,chains, gears ,pulleys, handle bar controls, tanks, ect Thanks jim

HA HA that's very funny. Ride like a motorcycle would have back in early 1900's. Take the corners just fine. One of these days I'll get my nephew to make a video of some of us riding just for you---

Chains, gears, pulleys, belts, and etc are all purchased locally at farm supply stores. Handle bar "twist grip" throttle controls can be purchased on ebay. Tanks can be homemade or old Clinton or Briggs cannister tanks work good.

Some of my bikes. The Schwinn and the green Whizzer are mine. I later added the head light. The green one will do 40 easy too fast, it has the Yamaha carb. I did some work on the Whizzer it does 50 now, again too fast. I have a bunch more, and am working on a B&S powered one. This stuff is addicting. Have fun, Dave

  30. Quick question- I have a horizontal Briggs and know that I can't just use it vertically since the connecting rod has no splash cup BUT...

How hard would it be to get a vertical con rod or add a splash cup to the existing rod?
