My dad told me that someone told him that in august there is going to be a show like the hunnert car pileup in Quincy IL. Has anyone heard about this and has more info? Thanks for your time.

Well of course its only right to unveil it at one of the best shows in this area. I was shooting for last year but i just didnt make it, and this year its looking good so far so I am hoping for the best.

Should be a good time... the guys that are putting this show on are trying really hard!

Friday night will be a really good time Kutter's is a great place to eat, drink & relax looking over the river, Nice set up!

BUT Saturday will be the day! The fair grounds are nice and flat, easy in, easy out right off of the interstate.

I can't wait for the Mini Bike Races! Be sure and bring your mini bikes!!!
    $225 buck in prize money!!!

the swap meet should be equally as good! I know I'm taking about 2 truck loads of stuff! And my dad... well he will bring about twice as much as I do! I'm sure they are going to have a good vendor turn out...

Quincy is a cool place... neat down town, tons of historic buildings and homes, great parks... lots of eating places & bars!

I will be headed to the Cheaters show in Milwaukee during the day and the Bombers Bombs Away Bash in Peoria IL - it goes til midnight at least - perhaps people can hit the Bombers show after checking out the Quincy show?

the event schedule of this show sounds oddly familiar? MiniBike races, music, hot rods, has anyone done a show like this before?

Cheaters in the morn/day in Milwaukee and Bombers at night....

not sure why the guys in Quincy would step on the Bombers toes by doing their show on the same day as 2 other shows in the midwest.

I understand that Milwaukee probably wont draw from the same crowd......
but the Bombers show has been going on for a few years now and that is only 130 miles away.

I sure hope that people that go to the Quincy thing will go to the Bombers show as well.

And just a heads up to everyone that Greaserama is Labor Day weekend....
    m***ive show.
800 cars last year at the drive in.

This year they are supposedly showing DEATH PROOF!

THAT is amazing weekend fer sure.

    Hey Everyone,
Just to clarify our choice of dates for the Rockin' Roddin' Reunion in Quincy; we did as much research as possible before choosing a date for our first show. We used the internet and input from other Traditional Hot Rodders to research the dates available for a midwest show. The 2009 Bomb's Away event was on September 5th and the Cheaterama was on August 22nd and we scheduled our event accordingly, thinking August 27th/28th was an open weekend. Unfortunately, the Bombers and Cheaterama changed their dates this year. We certainly had no intentions to schedule a conflicting event when we chose the date for our first show!

It's cool that there are so many great show choices on one weekend

Nobody is steppin on anybody. Clear dates on the calender are just to hard to come by. Hopefully many will be able to enjoy both a day show and a night show in the same day. I hope you guys pull a good crowd. Looks like we're all gonna have some awesome weather this weekend.
Hopefully next year the dates will line up better for all of us and we can
all go to each others shows.
The BASH dates are tough for us to come up with because we not only have to work with all the shows but also have to work with CruzensII to get a night that they don't have things already scheduled. It's a popular place and has bands pretty much every weekend once the college opens up.
I hope to be able to hit next years Rockin Roddin Reunion.
