it's a photo, you know that right? not a drawing or CG.

Great stuff as usual. Love the streamliner on the salt flat (even though it frustrates me that that place is so far away). Hotrd32 - are those pinhole photos? They've got a great feel. Good to see someone else having a go at the watercolours. I can recommend the waterbrushes by pentel. They hold the water in the handle so you don't have to balance pots of water - great when you're out and about. All of my watercolours have been done with one of those and a tiny Winsor & Newton palette.

Haven't done much drawing this week but did get a chance to do a very quick one of this dragster at a local car show...

Dan, thanks man, much appreciated. You have posted some great photos again this week and I really like the treatment on them, especially this one:

Actually, it is not a photo in the true sense of the word.
Based on a photo... yes... but hardly a true photo.
A lot of work went into creating that picture beyond taking a photo.

  14. As always, amazing work by everyone....

I've finally dragged myself into this centry & got a fancy ass DROID phone, it has a cool camera application on it, coupled with the 5mp resolution, it makes for some cool pictures.

Spent last Sunday with my club brothers wrenching on Ray's caddy....and maybe having a drink...or 5

Great Stuff as Usual guys! Ive got a few things this week, one slightly OT & the other is Hats I did for Jerry Walker a Design by Keven Carter.

Next is a SEABEE design for a Vietnam Vet Going to a Reunion this weekend. The Design ended up at 127,000 stitches/6 hours sewing, 14 inches x 18 inches tall with the Seabees lettering Arched above and CMBU 302, NAVCAT Teams, Vietnam '70-'71 below. The design was so big that it had to be hooped twice. I worked from a 1965 waterslide decal that I found on line for the colors.

@ Hotrd32: That 1st pic with the guy looking over his shoulder is really great. I'd like to imagine that this is how it was back then...

@ Dutch Courage: Your work is as always top notch. Attention to detail is almost scary. Clean yet authentic.

@ Johnny Jalopy: Nice Batmo-rod idea! Somebody out there just HAS to build it now...

@ Lowcab: Been following your paintings for some time now... Nice!

@ Katzenhammer: Love that clean hotrod and that tattooish design Marx did is very cool...

@ po'boy: Love your striping on the guitar. Definately something else!

@ jwhitey: That's a cool idea! Made me smile...

@ Britt8m: You've got guts to post a bug on here, but I love it!

@ Notrod13: That pic is absolutely out of this world...

    @ timebombcustoms: WOW! just ...wow...

    Hey guys!
Haven't posted here for a long time. I still haven't drawn a car of any sort lately, but I think these'll fit right in:

^ RustRocket Deluxe - t-shirt design for one of my favorite forums: ratrodbikes.com
I did this some time ago but it finaly made it to the printers this week. (I didn't do the url-type though...)

^ Wild at Heart. Acrylics (50x100cm) A painting I did for the Wild at Heart-show in Rotterdam (Holland) a few months ago. I know: No wheels at all, but it does feature some sort of tradtional flamejob ;-)

Great show guys. Glad to be part of it again.

Hope this qualifies as art. Bought this Ideal 55 cooler at a garage sale for $20, rewired it, cleaned up, and painted. I has a bottle opener that said "Lucky Club" on it, so I designed a logo, and made some stickers. By the way, it works awesome, so I'm getting rid of the shop fridge, and using this for my beer.
