Not sure here but could Chuck be Bob Bedell's Wild Thing before the good looking Camaro?

    Thanks,

You are correct sir, it was "Bob" not "Chuck" Bedell. And to add fuel to the fire, could the orange and green sherbit version of Bob Bedell's Camaro as depicted at OCIR to have later been raced by Gary Matranga?

  5. You're absolutely right,Duke. The Bedell "Wild Thing" became the Matranga "Day Go Express" Dennis Doubleday

Just to keep the questions going...was Gary Matranga related to Nick Matranga, the owner of the coolest '39-40 Merc custom ever? Nick was known for that custom, but also built engines, including the Cadillac used in the Don Rackmann Yeakel Cadillac fuel roadster, and later a deuce coupe....any relation? Maybe his son??

Thanks, Muttley. I sent that pic to Cruz & Tony and they had never seen that pic of their Dad. They were ecstatic and wanted me to thank you.

If anyone has any more pictures of Frank Pedregon (Senior) or his cars, please post them or email them to me!

    Thanks!
