nice setup. So what's the story on it? No need for xtra batteries? I've been thinking about doing juice on the 60 starliner I just bought.
batteries depends on what kinda of set up ur doing, i run 1 battery on my 52 and i run 2 batts on my glasshouse. the choice isyours on how hot u want your setup to be
Dude why do you insist on posting your late model on here? Look at the thread. Look at the HAMB. It does not and never will belong here.
agreed Zman... I will say this about his caddy though, I'm glad he has that big Cadillac decal on the back window, because I wouldn't have guessed what kind of car it was.
You know what, I can appreciate the late model Caddy regardless of this being a pre-63 site. He's proud of his car, it's nice, it's a lowrider, let it be!
cry about it. one could say this whole thread doesen't belong here cuz a lowrider by definition is the opposite of a hot rod, but it does cuz it's about the cars & as car guys we apprecieate them. i saw some 80s g-body a few pages back, so go yell at that guy too & quit coming at me like "i don't get it". i didn't see too many replies from you on this thread til you got a chance to call me out. this thread is about lowriders, for guys who like lowriders. it's about og lowriders, the history, the way that stuff carries over, to a newer build. not here to start a pissing match with the likes of you dude, so chill & realize it takes all kinds.
Actually no, read Groucho's post that started it all... And maybe you need to realize this isn't the "it takes all kinds" place, there has been some latitude given for the lowriders into the 70's, and yes a couple others got through, but at least the ones I saw had the whole treatment and not just the slammed and Daytons. It's also pretty bad the Street Freaks are starting to sneak in again, they have no place here either.
you're right. as usual. keep takin' digs dude, maybe you can get this thread locked. that would show me! maybe go back & call out all the other cars here on this thread that aren't up to your standards. or not.
dude, its not about takin' digs at you. your old car is just straight up NOT what this site is about. leave it on layitlow, no disrespect. what kind of response did you really expect?
I cannot say 'yes!' to this enough. Those second gen F-Bodies are a different kind of awesome. Not 'hotrods' by any real stretch, but still cool. "I'd be impressed by that leopard print collar, were it -actually- leopard"
Damn those paint jobs are just incredible!! I love it when this thread pops back up every once in a while.
Several years ago at BTTF i saw a 61 Impala convert owned by a member of the "Rollers"--the image is stuck in my head. Awesome.
Not a lowrider yet, but my latest buy, I got problems, a 66 Riviera bought from the original owner. At most for now she might get a set of wheels, but that's it. I figured I could sneak my OT car in this post.
^^^^^^^^^ very nice. Love Rivi's....so is that in front of your house? If so I think you can afford some new rims/tires and then whatever else you wanted to do to it. I would lowride that rivi but not paint it. Just sit it a little lower. Nice car
So Nads, I guess the jig is up, the wife knows about the new purchase. I got a spare bedroom...and parking space...
cool! there's a ton of those rivieras here... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=493118&page=2
