21" A Ford wires on the front of our HA/GR project...have a pair of 15" wires for the rear when it gets done.
That's WAY over the top... Best Chrysler letter car I could imagine. Kudos! Had to say that...'cuz I was sure thinkin' it!
I am thinking about using the same wheel/tire combo on my '32 truck as you have...5.50x16 Firestone fronts and 7.50x16 rears on '35 wires.
Sylvian what the hell? all your pics are home runs!! Larry i don't think you posted a single bad one so far. Man, wire wheels really look pretty dawg gone good on an old hot rod. .....I just looked at Sylvian profile, you all need to browse his cars he has in his album, jeesh.
Another '32 pickup, another set of 16" wires...although I have a nice set of 17" wires and blackwall 'Stones that might go on instead. The A Coupe has '40 steels on the other side (as it came to me), but I have enough spares to make a set of either - decisions, decisions
Here is my set of wires plus a spare. Early 1950s 15" Chrysler original painted wires. Most people are familiar with the chrome Chrysler wheels and have never seen the painted version. They are sitting in the garage waiting to be used on my Desoto UTE as a dress up wheel for shows like the Good guys. They are still in the factory argent silver and in great shape but need new caps, not sure what color I am going to paint them yet?
