  6. Took these pics at Bonneville this year. I like the style of both. I dont think the blue one is a T, but its similar and cool.

  13. What a great thread! Thanks for the resurrection.
How about K.C. 18 year old Larry Ryan's T-Bucket, built around '59 on a $2k budget , and which appeared in Oct. '61 Rod & Custom.

If you get that strange feeling that it looks familiar, it was eventually purchased by Speedy Bill and is still used in promotional material.

Here is one I saw at Bonn. a few years ago. Full of kool parts although I don't particularly like the way they were put together.

This is the T bucket that started the whole 'hotrod' thing for me...

Late 1963, I'm 15 years old, still at school, sitting in the dentist's waiting room for another appointment to butcher my teeth. I sort through the pile of magazines, and THIS comes popping out!

October 1963 Car Craft, I've never seen anything like this before in my life! When I left the surgery, the magazine 'left' with me and I've been a hotrod nut ever since.

The little blue T bucket in the yellow square is the one that set my youthful hormones ablaze. I carried the feature page torn from the magazine around in my pocket all my highschool years.

Bpught a fresh copy of the magazine on Ebay USA a few years ago too!

    Cheers, Glen.

The Von Franco clone. I like it the best of all the clones I've seen. Not because it is dead nuts on. None of them are. But because it was built to the same quality as the original (he didn't over build it) and he drove the SHIT out of it. As Grabowski did his. The guy that bought it from him (to his credit) hasn't tried to restore it. It is probably in the same shape now that Norms was when he sold his.

Really a big fan of your Mopar-powered T-Bucket.
Did you use quarter elliptics on the rear end?
Also, would love to see more pics of your unique interior seating position.
