Budville,NM Rt 66

 

Yesterday an OT ride was pulled from the chicken coop (concrete floor) for real. After 32 year's an Hugger Orange 1969 SS was freed from bondage. It's pretty solid for this area. Muncie 4 gear, 4.11 Posi, douple humphead 3-2-7 w/ a '66-67 dated coded (thank's Juinor Stock!) 350 horse Nova 327 intake. The motor tuned over fine, not stuck. I buffed the bitch out taday. Good-bye patina. PS the window sticker and COPO are there too! -Wing-go!

 

I was in Henrietta Texas in 1981, and a '67 camaro coupe was part of a pigpen. Looked like it had been there longer than it had been in existance!

 

I took a couple of shots of one of those 'Kompac" trailers at the Auburn Kruse auction a while back. Talk about a neat set-up.

Here in British Columbia the hoarders have most of the sitting and rotting old vehicles, and of course, they will get to them "some day".

 

Here at Brazil...some cars!

 

Just west of Houston on I-10 and its for sale

 

My dad's cousin stalled my dad off for many years..truck was bought new by my cousin in '30 and used on the ranch for about 10 years...sat in his barn rotting 'till my dad FINALLY got it away from him...restored it over several years. He drove it on weekends in good weather and when he died I inherited it. Drove 1750 miles with a trailer to pick it up and it'd been stolen...never saw it again...it's been about 6 years now.

 

Damn, somebody better grab that Eldorado!
