if you want riveted ones i believe you will have to do that yourself . when i was looking for `40 shoes all i found were bonded. i got the linings from Dennis Carpenter and did them myself with a special rivet tool ...most early Ford parts suppliers sell that too for about $25. then you can reline all the shoes you want and save money
if you already have old shoes just get them relined. fleetpride does them all the time for me they reline and rivet mine...they are a national company. if they are not local to you, take them to a large truck shop that does dump trucks and ****...they will custom cut and reline and rivet them and they use great material that last FOREVER!!! im going on 5 years with mine, got all my buddys rods done too they love it.
no problem man, maybe they will have some one in there that knows whats up.the guy who does ours in raleigh can do them with his eyes closed. i like to support my local companies as much as i can.
as already said , Dennis Carpenter....and Mac's has them too you save a LOT of money by doing it yourself , plus i believe you end up with a better part. i know bonded shoes are ok ( i guess) , but i have never trusted them. i'm probably out of touch , but i like and use riveted shoes
I hate to post a motorcycle question here, but do you think they can do Sportster shoes as well? I don't know if they are riveted or not.
to be honest im not up to knowledge of motorcycles....but i dont see why they couldn't. ive brought some wild **** to them and aslong as you have a good core to work off of they should be able to do it. they do mine cheap enough where i dont even think about doing them myself. you might can call them in your area...or you can ask your question on the jockey journal.
