Where to buy chrome smoothies in LA/LBC/OC area???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Sep 1, 2010.

  1. I need a place i can walk in and test fit the wheel to the brake drum so ordering online or over the phone wont cut it.

    any leads?

    thanks.

check out discount/american tire, I know they can get a chrome smoothie
I think Cragar makes one. You never know they might be able to get a wheel vintiques smoothie too.

mitch there's a guy named pat that is always set up in the first row of the long beach swap meet. he can make any wheel that vintiques or any of the other comanies can and he's cheaper too. his shop is just north of the 55 off the 5. he's done a few sets for me and is great to deal with, if you bring the drum to his place he can make any offset you want while you wait.

i don't have his contact info handy but i'm sure someone will be able to post it if not i'll dig it up tonight.

For what it's worth Pat's dad used to own Roadster Wheel before it was sold to Coker. So he has been around the whole wheel deal a long time. I have used his tuff may times.

  12. Thanks guys!

called him up.. no sweat... might just reset the wheel centers instead of having to buy new ones!

    awesome.
