Lucy seemed like she was smiling to me in the video of the roadster. I am sure she had a great time in the P/U.

    Looks like an awesome trip!!

Dude! Dogs and trucks are made for each other. In Texas it is mandatory to have both. Piss on the Newbie! He probably is sore cause his cat don't like riding in the back....Take her when ever she wants to go....You have so little time with them anyway (That's the dog I am talking about just to be clear!). It is great when the whole family gets to go and have fun hanging out.
Greats pics of the trip and the ride is *****in' as well!

"Man I was stoked as I love vintage boats and never get a lot of opportunity's to check em out."

Chris, this is a shameless plug and an opportunity for you to check out a wood boat, own a hot rod woody and another flatty all at the same time! Will be listing this one on CL this week if your interested! See you in Vantage!

She's actually a Red Bone **** Hound. Looks a lot like a Vizsla but with black nose and accents...and about twice as big!!!

  12. Looks like a great road trip, but I still believe you have some magnetic attraction to old tin because even on a road trip to the lake you managed to find an "American Graffiti" car show in a town of 2,000 people, now that's random?

Priest Lake it one of my wife’s favorite places to go each July. We usually do the Spokane Swap then head up Hwy 2 through Newport to the lake for a week’s vacation. Great road and a beautiful drive as well. Because we are towing a camp trailer I usually imagine the trip in my hot rod. Would be a fun trip in my coupe. Don’t they have a run in Newport each year?

That was a terrific trip Chris!:D I had to go back and check the date on the posting after I read the part about the sky darkening and it getting cold out. I probably don't need to tell you what kinda weather we're having here in south Texas and would love to have a day like that. Thanks for sharing this story, it reminds me that there are other parts of this country that are just beautiful, things other than mesquite and cactus. Take care and keep them stories coming!:)

I dunno. Sandpoint has a pretty big show every year but don't know on Newport.

Thanks for the great pics! Mike told me that he was going to bring the '58 down to Newport for a cancer benefit car show, but I had too much going on to make it up there.
