x100! if me and the other car guys around here tried to do something like that there would be 5 or so of us standing around a couple of Little Caesars 6 dollar pizzas and a bunch of people looking for a free lunch sure youve been asked this before but how do you and the neighbors get along when this shindig rolls around every year?
I was parked in front of the neighbors house. Every time I went outside to the sidewalk, she would glare at me. Maybe it was just me......LOL
Neighbor behind me is pretty easy going and I invite him over to get some food (he never comes). There is nobody currently living across the street. Old lady beside me is very friendly and never complains about anything. Some of her family recently moved in and they seem to be....let's just say...Fuckin weird. I have never had any problems yet and I always cross my fingers that no one will do any burn outs down my street. Last year someone did one down my street with neighbors watching and me in the car with a blown Hemi powered car that shall remain nameless (green tub). I don't need any neighbors complaining and cops shutting the party down. So far no problems.
Ive already said this a million times, but jeeez, your shop is awesome Kev! And you must be a hell of a nice guy too to do do this more than once a year.
Hi, looks like a great party. I work at Barber Ford and could probably get part of the lot for parking next time. I still want some louvers done when you have time. . Ojai/Jan (Jan Harmonson)
It was a Fantastic weekend!! Thanks Kevin & Mary for opening your house to us again this year. We really had a good time at your House. We look forward to it every year. Thanks for driving are drunk asses back to our hotel after the Blasters. I think we thanked you & Mary over 300 time before we got to the hotel LOL!! Thanks again!, Rudi, Emily, Heidi & Nick
the Primer Nationals became the Ventura Nationals and is a show not to be missed. Kevins Bar-B-Que is beyond comparison. Thx Kev for my second time around. I would not miss this for the world. Then on Sunday after the Nationals is done there is the Old Gold Garage open house that is a BITCHIN' cap to a BITCHIN' weekend. And thank you to Groucho for dragging me along.
I just can't help but think that a seperate thread, possibly a Tech Week thread, on how to roast a pig at a car event would be of interest to more people than just myself.
Kev, Looks like a smashing time as ever. I really need to make it to your deal next year. Am I invited? If you will let Squeak in there you will let anyone in(Insert big chuckle her) That show at Ventura looks kinda fun. I recognize some of the usual crowd. Wish I could get over to see your hotrod shrine. Dale
Hey, Glad to see someone else shared in beign in the right place a week early !!! Good to see you again Kev, next time I will make better calls on the dates to be in the USA.
Hey Kevin, Thanks for the invite for next year. If we make it out there next year we''ll make it a stop.
Man, Kev... Looked like a hell of a great time! Thanks for all of the photos and sharing your home with so many hot rodders. Malcolm
