I'm not that near Austin, But I'll keep an eye out. Sounds like they need to set up a bait car at that place. I hope you get it back man, At least it stands out so It would be hard to sell.

I have sent e-mails out to the Coasters, Back Alley Cruisers and a couple of other clubs here in Ontario Canada We have many members throughout the province and none of us will put up with this kinda crap. This blows big time we all hope you find your ride and the rat bastards that stole it.

Guys, I realize that this truck was very special to the owner and all, but ... it was stolen 5 months ago. Is it really even remotely likely that it's going to turn up in one piece at this point? I'm thinking that it's most likely been parted out with the carcass crushed by now if it hasn't been taken out of the country and gone forever.

    Maybe it's just me.

  15. I think you may be right on this one, but its better to not give up hope. I've seen these kind of things work out before even with months between the time of theft and finding.

It is just you, mine was out just over six months and was found (on chance) just before being cut up into it's significant parts. So lets keep on looking and watching and never forgetting what it looks like. There is always hope.

I had a 40 Ford Pickup stolen from me when I lived in Massachusetts.

2 years later I found the Flathead Motor for sale complete with Sharp Heads and Offy Intake ... I let the police find the truck :)

they did! Different color and 302 small block with Mustang IFS

Perhaps even try to get on car club forums down there, Like Road Devils or poor boys. I would think clubs with a heavy membership in that area or Mexico would be in the know.
