Thanks for that link. It's an interesting story, I admire his talent, but the car looks too much like a Vette ...A rear engined Vette with a Corvair motor with humps for (2) spare tires. I don't think it would have been a success even then, but what do I know.

As a side note on Corvairs, they were pretty cool cars to drive. My friend's mom had a Corvair Spyder w/4spd that was pretty fast, another friend's older sister had a run of the mill Corvair w/4spd and my mom had a Corvair with an automatic...it was not so fast.

Oh, and hey Ralph Nader, none of them were killed or even injured in one either.
