Ford's turbine truck known as Big Red sat on the side of Village Road inside the Ford Design center complex in the late 60's.I believe the rear trailer was missing at that time.You could drive right past it and i did!Never thought to take a photo.It disappeared sometime after that.I was told by a friend who ran the experimental garage at the Dearborn test track on nights that Bill Stroppe received the rear trailer.Bill was a long time Ford/Mercury race car developer.

Three shots from our 1972 wedding. Our '62 Falcon, which, when we looked under the floormats, had rusted so much you could see the pavement! The place on Lake Fort Gibson in Oklahoma where we honeymooned. And, the little country church in which we wed. Two out of three are still there, but the Falcon is long gone.

 

i had a 62 falcon, i saw the odometer turn over twice!

 

I was thinking "WOW" too but I was looking at that white Buick convertible and the red (shoebox?) convertible with the Continental kit behind it...not the four door wagon.
