    Hi Everyone,
Just got back from the Kansas City Greaserama very late last night. Was out chasing down old ATSF depots, across Kansas, to photograph and came across this Ford in a business lot in Cullison, Kansas on US54. Also saw a white Divco van parked on US54, like for sale by National Meat Packers in Liberal, Kansas. Have a great day!:)...dak (NM Sandrail)

  6. Saw this on a side street up in Alaska while we were on our family vacation over the summer....I think it's in Skagway.

Don't know anything about it, but thought it was cool looking.

Good evening my friends, I humbly contribution here (although it is replica and not in "actual size"). It is a project based on pick-up of F1 '48 Maisto Fresh Metal, which was rebuilt a '49 COE type to use either bucket type step-side or flatbed.

The material used to make the cabin and is resin-rolling wheels and other parts such as chassis and the rear deck and galvanized steel, brass, all salvaged from old umbrellas and offices CPU scrapped.

Here are two original decorations which incidentally are very known to all frequenters of this forum ...

I just got my first COE today. A first series 55 Chev. Pretty good shape overall. Cab is sitting on a 1 ton Chev dually frame. Looking for engine and trans now then on to some rust repair.

I would like opinions here. Look at both pictures of the Coe and tell me if I should use the chrome center strip and leading edge strip or make them black. The grill bars will be polished stainless with a black background.
    Thanks,
    Don

I'm****uming we're talking about your sun visor trim here??

Since you're going to run a stainless grille, then I'd be inclined to use the chrome ones.

Sweet truck btw!!! Whacha gonna do to the back of it??

The American Racing Red F-1 COE that cruises B-ville every year just got it's top chopped. Looks******in'. I'll try to dig up some pics. I'd just like to see him change the gas tank, or hide it. I think he's having to much fun with it though, he says he drives it every day.

I made this one in plastic to see how much work it would take to build in 1/1 scale. came together real easy. For the grille I used 2 '34 Pickup grilles. The top 2/3rds, and the bottom 2/3rds. now I want one REAL bad. This one is sitting in Pete Chapouris' office[IMG]

thanks b for posting the pics of my c.o. project. i've started a build thread on the c.o.e. social group but neither b-bop or myself seem to post any pics. anyhow i've started back on this c.o. after a 4-5 year break to work on some other projects but cabovers are my passion so this truck will be finished by spring and will be at bonneville in aug. it's mounted on a 72 chev 1/2 ton frame with disk brakes on the front and parallel leafs with a 3;73-1 posi rear. i have a 350 vortec engine with a 700r4 that will be mounted behind the cab.
