Very neat car but it could do without the fake Patina. Hope this trend will go away soon and we get back to patina that's earned by years of exposure and use.

Agree totally. Fake patina and all the lettering is just plain bad. (And sad at the same time)
Just about makes me sick every time I see it done.

Could be a nice car otherwise.

agreed. Real patina is ok and cool in alot of cases. That fake stuff just isnt cool in my opinion. I understand if you have a car covered in a certain patina and you install a new panel or something and you do your best to make it match but thats different then doing the whole thing.

  6. A very nice car for sure and I have to agree with Fab32 and Blue One, the car would look alot better with a proper paint job.

Were the cowl lights on 34s mounted below the beltline versus above the beltline on everything prior?

I like the car, I like the patina, I like the fact that this is THE U.S. of A. and one can drive what they like. And others are still free to complain. As a new Military Dad, I look at things a bit differently! Now...go drive it!

Fake patina is sort of like a young man dying his hair grey. Has a large WTF? component.

  21. I saw it in person instead of on the web and from Idaho or some other great place, I'm sure.
I looked great, it is the way he did it he own's it, my 34 is still not running /driving I have nothing to say but GREAT and Thanks for bringing that nice rod out for us to enjoy !!

Fake Patina. Both cars looked great. Nice seeing you yesterday. That 34 has come a real long way since you got it. I would just drive the **** out of it while you decide on real paint some day.

That is not allowed anymore. You must conform or you and your car will be laughed at until you correct all the problems that others find.

if I were in charge all cars would be painted shiney black buffed and polished to perfection...

while not what I would have done the car looks good and the "old" lettering was done well. I think 34 5 windows are my favorite cars.... next to 49 Chevys of course.
