Yeah, that's a hoot! I didn't catch it earlier, either.. But kids are kids, no matter what era, eh? Nine out of 10 kids I know (including my 2 grandkids) would stick the thing over their faces! LOL

 

SouthPaw, I have to say, the DeSoto Flying Lady hood
ornament was ALWAYS one of my favorites. Hmmmm-MMM !

My comment had nothing to do with whether smoking is healthy or acceptable or not. I couldn't care less who smokes.
I'm 63, I started smoking when I was 16 and didn't quit (2 packs a day)untill I was in my 50's and I don't know anyone that liked having someone elses cigarette in their face...Rude and inconsiderate is rude and inconsiderate no matter what era it was. The child had no choice.

I won't say anymore on that subject
