So I have these headers that came with the truck, and they are in a little better shape than the fenderwell headers in it. I kinda wanna put them in. How difficult is it to re-do the exhaust yourself minus the welding? I know the tubing isnt expensive. If ya have any pics with headers like this, post em up!

Havnt done much lately because I've had school and work everyday. BUT I did just lay down some pinstripin' on the interior, and the new rearend will be in the truck in about 3 weeks. Slowly making progress again!

Pop for a HAMB Alliance Membership before you order up the tires... You will save enough to pay for the membership and a little more (plus it's just cool).

I'd be interested in the wheels. Are they 6 lug or 5 lug?

Thanks man! Ya I have a blast cruising it! It was like 100 deg out after the show so not much driving after. No insulation + fenderwell headers = almost melted shoes. :D

Heres the new 12-bolt thats going in. When I pull the old one out I will need to sell it. I also need to sell the wheels that are on the truck right now. Anyone interested? And does anyone have any mono-leafs they dont want anymore that are in good shape? Let me know....

Rearend is built, and is ready to go in. Its getting mounted on top of new mono-leafs, so it will be dropped in the back. This week I will hopefully be bolting in a new front end with disc brakes. Im also gonna mess around with taking leafs out in the front to lower it. Hopefully I will have pics soon....

Also....when we took apart the old rearend we found that the rear left break was not working at all and looked like it hadnt been working for a long time, which would probably explain it pulling to the right when ya get on the breaks at higher speeds. Its only gonna drive better from here!

  26. Great 57 bro, man they are my fave of the tri-5 Chevy P.U.'s. Looks like some extra fenders, are you keeping the side mount spare? I think they are pretty cool and a little outside the box, kinda of a pun there. No body could fake a patina like that one. Thay rear end might be geared pretty low as well, not sure how they were geared with the granny 4-speed box. Good Luck and a big Congrats on a super score. Love it! ~Sololobo~

Thanks man! The spare mount is coming off and full sized fenders are going on. And yes, its geared extremely low, 4:56. Im in the process of putting a whole new rear end in with 3:08 gearing, and completly red-doing the front end with disc breaks. Its gonna be lowered too!
