Just when you thought it was safe, and the weekly quiz might have been suspended for lack of interest... MrModelT sent me a PM, the only one I received. I had hoped the quiz (post 4224) would have allowed more folks to participate, as all you needed to do was pick one vehicle not made in Massachusetts. Identifying each car wasn't necessary, but "T" gave it an awesome shot and got all but one, so it is no longer safe and the quiz torch goes back to him. Here are the makes and cities where built:

Top row, L to R: Matheson c. 1905 (Holyoke); Knox c. 1909 (Springfield); Winton c. 1910 (Cleveland, Ohio - bingo). Middle L to R: 1917 Stanley (Newton); Indian c. 1925 (Springfield); Stevens Duryea c. 1910 (Chicopee). Bottom: Rolls Royce (Springfield).

I like this photo because of the miner and kids. Possibly Studebaker, with Ohio plate?

Might be in Australia. Hope someone can tell what make it is - it almost looks like an underslung. If that's an acetylene generator on the runningboard, it's the tallest one I've ever seen, and it sure would make the driver's door inoperable.

Car looks to be a Lincoln. Here's a similar vintage Dual Cowl Phaeton photographed on January 27th 1933. This Lincoln Phaeton was the object of much scrutiny by hundreds of prospective purchasers who attended the opening of the 33rd Annual National Automobile Show in Grand Central Palace, Manhattan, New York.

1934 Lincoln K V12 Brunn Town Sedan and 1935 Lincoln K V12 LeBaron Phaeton from original sales literature.

Damn, Twin! That's either the WORST case of over-parking ever, OR it's the BEST case of avoiding the meter maid I ever saw! (But, as always, I wonder what the real story is in shots like this!)

It looks like a Regal Underslung.....They made a Coupe just like this and couple of them have survived.

Little Rock, Arkansas 1924. And another locomotive car. Maybe more of those were created than anyone would have guessed.
