I came across this while checking out a car for another HAMBer. All stock, 6 banger & three on the tree. I've only seen one picture of one, not sure how rare they are. The wife says if I buy it I should put my 429 in it. Hmmmmmm...

Great custom work HOTRODSURFER. I really like the way you cut the square stock so that it can be bent into a curved piece. This is a '59 that I'm working on with a buddy of mine in Georgia. We are trying to get the truck running so we can get it to VEGAS for SEMA in a month.

Dont forget the drip rails, and check the front rear spring hanger areas, frames are prone to rust in these aras.

Here's an old beater I used to have. I last saw it with the tires a smoking as the 17 year old I sold it to drove off. The image stuck!

Here's mine, needs some work but I like it. 234 V8 3 speed on the tree. Ran for the previous owner but wouldn't run for him before I bought it. The wiring the mice chewed through might have something to do with that. I'm hoping that is all that is wrong.

Just found this thread and viewed all 74 pages.. WoW some amazing looking Trucks so thought I would share a few photos of mine with you.

I did a couple of mild custom tricks as this is my first ground up build and didn't want to bite of more than I could chew. So I modified the original 55 grill, smoothed out the cab seams, de-bumpered it, made up a custom bed and the biggest job of all I took the peak out of the hood. Trucks runs 1971 Jag suspension, brakes and steering, the motor is a 302 with rpm package and backed by a Mustang 5 speed.
If I had any money left I would have it scalloped and the wheels painted body colour... but funds ran out a long time ago, so I am just driving the wheels of it instead ;o) Cheers!
