This one can not go unpunished. Kent Bash, I'm calling you out.

If you got your new Rod & Kulture, Fall 2010 please open it up to page 39 and direct your attention immediately to the bottom of the page. Then follow along with me on this wonderful story...

    My buddy Tyrell calls me...

"Dude, you're not gonna believe this..."

    "What?"

"Get R&K and go to page 39. Kent Bash took a photo of my car, photoshopped ME out, put his bro in it, and said it was taken in 1953!"

I hauled ass to 7-11, grabbed the rag, and looked at it immediately. Sure as shit, there stood my buddy's car.

I didn't wanna believe it either, until I grabbed Rod & Kulture summer 2008, which ALREADY FEATURED Tyrell's car. Kent Hack even attempted to do what he calls writing the feature.

Even the fraudulent picture was Tyrell's personal property.

Pictures will be in the next post. Are you ready for all the eerily similar features of cars built nearly 60 years apart? Here is your checklist. Oh and if you can zoom in enough on the pics, check out the BULLSHIT story of why woodland hills seems so expansive, because its EL MIRAGE?

Idenntical features, Tyrell's car vs Kent HACK's bullshit mobile

    Air cleaner
Clamps screwed to firewall in identical spots
    Lack of front shocks
    Exhaust Clamp in identical position
    Identical Dual exhaust
    Chopped and raked windshield
    Identical rust pattern on grill
    Tires, wheels, and caps
    Dust pattern on tires

The cylinder heads were even photoshopped a little. Adding in a fin and COVERING UP A HEAD BOLT was an attempt to disguise the Cyclone heads.

Tyrell is in the service, and does not have access to a computer at this moment, but does have the exact photo that was molested to benifit kent Hack.

If you have access to this guy, let him know this is on here. If my buddy doesn't get the promise of a full printed retraction next issue, the true photo will be posted.

FAKE PHOTO the first one. No front shocks? IDENTICAL RUST PATTERN ON GRILL? Same rollers, both equally dusted?

    I'm intrigued...

Shadows are all wrong on the driver in the first picture. Why is the back of his head not lit up? That's some weird sunlight!

Look closely at both motor set ups. Notice the plumbing is the same? Look at the fake photo where they added a fin on the head and forgot to give it a shadow where they covered the cyclone logo. The resolution is shit because I took pictures of the magazines.

  7. i've noticed pics in the mag where his t-shirt artwork was clearly photo edited onto peoples shirts. this was a couple years ago, thought that was pretty phony at the time too.

Are you contending that they are both from the same picture, but the first one is doctored?

No. My buddy has the original, but is in the service, and doesn't have access to a computer. I will be getting the photo within 24 hours. The photo he gave this ass hole never reached print in the article from 2008. Kent hack held on to it for later and photoshopped it up.

  10. I'm following you, but shouldn't the original pic and the shopped pic be from the same angle? I agree the cars are very similar.

edit, post 5 was when I replied. That fuel line in post 6 looks identical.

I know you are cheesed, but you should take some of the venom out of the posts or I fear it will get closed for drama reasons. It has happened before.

There is some editing on the magazine picture, but the cars are at slightly different angles. Front tires are at different angles. I don't think it's the same car...or at least it's not that exact picture from your friend.

I lined up a comment element from both pics (passenger headlight), and if they were the same, everything else would line up. They don't, because the angles are slightly different.

I'm always open to the possibility that I'm wrong though.

My real job is in theatre. I mainly do set building, special effects and the like, but i have a lot of experience in lighting. in that first photo "from the 50s" you can see discrepensies in how the passengers are lit compared to the car. car is lit from approx 1'o'clock, hence the placement of the ride's shadow. driver is lit from 2'o'clock, and the passenger is lit from direct side light. notice the shadow gradient on his hair. there is no light coming from the top, unlike the other two subjects. being this photo is outside, all light should come from once source and look congruous throughout. PHOTO IS A FAKE. I agree.

yea i say its super close! but the face's looks way to clear compared to the rest of the photo, im no photo expert, but the rust on the grill should be the dead give away! if you are going to fake it do a lot more photoshopping then just half assing it. that sucks if this turns out to be true! life is full of asshole's, i know cause im one of them.
and if its true, then he should come clean!

TYRELL HAS THE PHOTO THAT WAS FAKED. I don't have it right now. I admit they are not from the same angle because I do not have access to the replicated picture. I will be on here tomorrow with it.

The bigger problem than a fake photo is the fake story. Someone busted ass to build this car then he says its his brothers? FUCKING HORSE SHIT!

Ok, cool. I'll await that posting. If it's true, it's screwed up.

I would be flattered that someone went through all of this to claim a build on my cars!

  20. No, you wouldn't. Taking credit for someone elses talent is bullshit on any level. On cars, at work, anything.

the only thing i see that could show that there is two different cars is when you look at the engine close up shots there is a dent about 3/4 up the cowl and just above the body crease in BW there is none. now that is easily shopped using the gradient tool and a cut and patch, where as lighting direction takes a hell of a lot more time and effort

I agree. I will try and calm down. I feel the only reason any one owns up to there shit is when you come at them like a bat out of hell, before they do the side step.

    Still... I'll calm down.

If you have the 2008 magazine look at the photo taken from the opposite side of the car. It appears to be dented. Still, I trust your opinion.

Exactly. Easiest way to see a shopped pic is to look at the shadows. All wrong here.

is a photo release involved? does the magazine have a copy of the photo release? if the owner signed a photo release, the mag can do whatever they want with the photo, including photoshop but false claims about the build is not good

  30. In post #6, there is a spot on the firewall just above the rubber line spliced between the 2 hard lines next to the rib....in both pics??????
