I concur. I will take American muscle, over computerized engines. Having a non-computer governed engine is like being organic. Anything else is not natural. :)

Young kids--Notice those roadsters are marked AH. That stands for A/Hot roadster. It's a Hot roadster because it's burns fuel as opposed to an A/Gas roadster. And they are not altereds because they are not coups. If you burned gas and had a roof you had an altered coup. If you burned fuel it was a Fuel Coup. And if it was really a dragster like Charlie Muews Fiat pictured it was a comp coup. They were all assumed to burn fuel. There was no gas class.

I heard that they may re-open the half moon bay drag strip... I heard that at the last dream machine's show at the half moon bay air port (where the strip actually was) or at least they are looking into it maybe for a once a year thing

So did anyone ever find pic of the Little Lemon 41 Willys Coupe ? A freind of mine is looking at a vintage Gasser tonight and it's a 41 Willys Coupe , Yellow and comes with a pile of trophies and paper work etc . He hasn't said if the car had any paticular name but I am trying to dig up some info . Apparently it was a world record holder of something in California 1966 . Some pics would be great ! I had a look out there but couldn't find anything .

Raced the Roadster and the Camaro at Fremont and Half Moon Bay 1965 to 1969.

Riceman. Thanks a ton. I've never seen that pic of my dad. You just made my day.

Derelict... when you took those pics, was my dad the starter? Or was it still Bob Ohlning? Any pics with my dad? Killer stuff. And is that the Snake (or someone else) at the wheel of Ivo's showboat? I can see Ivo by the big X when the car is on the starting line.
