    Just heard that C&J Engineering, Whittier, CA had a fire. JJ Barnhart 32 Vicky is in the pics. What's with all the fires lately?

    Jeezus I just drove past there today Cliff & John must be devastated, ffs this is crazy season. So Sorry to see the loss again I hope no one was hurt.

    Wow thats horriable! From the pictures it does look like some of the cars will be savable though.

    This is terrible!
    I thought C&J did fuel systems & carbs for mostly race stuff or am I thinking of another shop close by?

    Out here in the west many of our block and tilt-up concrete bldgs have wood/tar/membrane roofs.

    The story is that the Vicky was in Steve Speljo's (don't know how to spell his last name) then sub-contacted out to C&J for an engine transplant. That's what I've been told anyway.

    that sucks! john and cliff are the best carb guys in the biz! hopefully it's not to bad and they can open up shop again.
