Larry has an engine-building business in Bernville, PA. He specializes in 358 c.i. oval track engines. The area is a hotbed of modifieds, and late model dirt trackers, and Larry's engines power some of the winningest cars.

I have a friend who owns one of his many cars. Some were more famous then others. It is amazing the prices now, cuz he didnt pay anything close to that for his.

Back in the day I lined up against him at Norwalk. I had a 69 camaro. He was runnin his 68 Nova.ss 396. His number was 701 ss class. It was very cool.

I just talked to one of the guys helping with the build and he tells me pretty much all that is left is to install the front valance panels, side glass and odds and ends. Needless to say the project has taken longer (and more $$) then they would have liked.

Speaking of Jenkins, what ever happened to P+G Shifters ? And , did he really use one . I always heard that there was a different shifter under the floor.

  23. That book helped build many microscopic priced "Hemi Beaters"!

I was a Mopar man and switched to Chevies because of that book!
