96" Funny Car Ch***is, Full Tilt Body, Spindle Mount Halibrands, Halibrand Sprints on the rear. Injected Small or Big Block Chevy, some colored lexan windows and leave this rest alone........................

I was checking that one out real hard when I saw it on the trailer as we came in . OK now what are your plans and what mill are you planing to use ? We need DETAILS !
What were the heads for that were sitting on the trailer ?

All those Hemi Goodies belonged to someone else. This car is 2nd in line in the project que. First, we need to field or Dragster. Then, this little gem.

Mill ..... Maybe BBC or SBC (we are chevy guys). But we pretty much see a Tilt Body style Funnycar.


I was told this car ran B/B Gas in the Ohio area in the late 60's. If anyone has pictures or knows the car, please contact me.

I looked at that at a Super Chevy in Indianapolis abt 10 years ago. Someone who worked at Raceway Park owned it then. I tried to get ahold of him a week or two later and had no luck. I wanted it then...and now

It was parked out back near a storage building at Indy when I saw it..

To use an Anglia front end on the 4-door Prefect, you had to modify the sides of the cowl. We (Ai) made the conversation pieces to accomplish this. Some guys added them to the one piece which made tilting a problem, others added them to the cowl.
Those parts are still made by the new owner of the Ai molds, Scott's Rods in Ohio.

Yes. The front sheet metal on the 4-door Prefect is totally different from the 2 door Anglia. I guess no one liked the Prefect styling, so my partner Dave Anderson created 2 molds to allow the anglia front end to mount to the Prefect cowl.

This is a one piece Fibergl*** body! Did you guys mold these?

 

The Prefect nose doesnt look that good...
