This is #8 if we are counting.

You can post them photoshopped to high heaven, but that won't matter in the selection process. I look past the effects and focus on the photo composition, focus and emotional qualities. That last one is pretty subjective, and Ryan and I like alot of the same things and have mutual respect for each other's talents. So he has always left everything up to me. This year has some new challenges with color photography, but I generally prefer the original. It is not unheard of that I do some retouching too, to make it work. I retouched out a bus once. I've also had to recreate a bridge or a wall because the photo didn't fit the format. I don't really have the time to do alot of extra work for myself, but sometimes the end result is worth it.
