this car would be awesome with Astros and thin whites. even chrome steelies or steelies with caps would be nice but this is a perfect example of the wrong wheel and tire for a particular car... i like the wheels and i like the car but the styles clash.

...anybody notice the fairly major yet hardly noticeable (unless you really know these cars) body mod done to this car??

front and rear body line connected through the door.

  7. Yup, I spotted that too. They really don't need a lot of major work done, they were a good design out of the box. All I ever did to mine was some bigger tires on the back with baby moons... then I could never find a way to match the front wheels (because the stock rims use clips for the caps).

That green one is Erik's (forsakenfew) poncho that you posted above before all the wild paint. Many 60's will come and go but THAT pontiac will live forever!

  15. The full flake and panel painted Pontiac, and the green pontiac with the white top are the same car. Erik Johnson started with a stocker (more or less) and has turned that care into the "technicolor dream-boat"(tm)...

he goes by forsakenfew here on the HAMB...

My first "old car" was a 60 Starchief 2dr. sedan that I bought from Lou Calisibetta up in Stillwater NJ back in the early 80s....great car, wish I stll had it. Fast forward to 2006 or so, I built up this 60 ventura. Sold it too, it went off to Sweden.
